I am running for U.S. Senate in 2018

I am running in 2018 for U.S. Senate to unseat Bob Casey, who has lost a lot of his momentum over the past few years. My goal is to bring sanity back to government, and bring discussion and progress back as well. We need to cut the federal budget without compromising our security and without bankrupting our citizens and our states. Some serious "belt tightening" is in order. This will not be an easy task, and I think that a rework of our entire economy is in order. Without finding replacement opportunities for all the jobs lost to automation and technology, we will be lost. We need to work with all nations to this end - We are not an island. We are but 300 plus million people in a sea of 7 billion. We are far from the majority!

Planning another trip to Centralia this summer!

Hopefully will get out to Centralia, PA again this summer. I am thinking about making a video tour and then combining with images of what the area looked like in the past. Maybe put out a lawn chair and sell some copies of my book on Centralia (Centralia PA, Devils Fire.)

So it seems that some things have come down significantly in cost. For example, this advertisement from Popular Mechanics, 1905 is offering a generator for darn near the current cost of one!  Some things have gotten better over time!
